The Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania is responsible for the management of the Prosperous Future grant programme in close cooperation with the Nordic Council of Ministers‘ Secretariat in Copenhagen.
The programme supports Nordic organisations’ cooperation for a green, democratic, and resilient region with civil society in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and other partners from civil society organisations with relation to Ukraine, as well as independent partners with relation to Belarus and Russia.

You have to be comfortable with receiving and giving advice, show initiative, network, and build trust and strong relations with partners. You may be analytical as well as operational, solution-oriented and with an eye for detail, while being able to see the bigger picture. Accountability and a strong sense of integrity are important. It is positive if you master any of the Nordic languages, and written and oral English at a professional level (C1/C2) is a requirement.
Scope of Activities:
- Communicate with applicants and project implementers, provide guidance and advice throughout the application submission, project implementation and reporting processes;
- Conduct administrative compliance assessment of received applications;
- Assist the Programme team in the assessment of applications;
- Prepare the grant agreements;
- Review inquiries and complaints and prepare responses;
- Manage and archive documentation related to the assigned Funding programme;
- Monitor the funded projects and assess the reports;
- Prepare and provide systematised information on the funded projects and programme results;
- Prepare reports on the results of the Funding programme;
- In cooperation with the Communication Adviser, prepare and disseminate information on the Funding programme and funded projects;
- Carry out other tasks related to the administration and promotion of the Funding programme;
- Office Director may instruct the performance of other and additional tasks.

We expect the candidate to have:
- Higher education in public administration, project management, law, or an equivalent academic qualification;
Preference will be given to those with work experience in the administration of funding instruments and in the NGO sector.
