Prosperous Future – application programme for civil society cooperation is now open

The Nordic Council of Ministers welcomes applications for the 3rd round of the Prosperous Future programme, supporting civil society collaboration in the Nordic-Baltic region. The programme fosters cooperation between civil society organisations in Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Åland Islands, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and civil society actors with relation to Ukraine.

About Prosperous Future

The Prosperous Future programme enables Nordic organisations to engage in meaningful cross-border cooperation with civil society in the Baltic region. By focusing on sustainable and democratic development, the programme supports the Nordic Council of Ministers’ vision of making the Nordic-Baltic region the most integrated and sustainable region in the world by 2030.

Strategic Priorities

Projects under the programme should align with these priorities:

  • A Green Region – advancing sustainability and environmental protection.
  • A Competitive Region – fostering innovation and economic resilience.
  • A Socially Sustainable Region – strengthening democratic values, inclusion, and equality.

Additionally, projects should integrate the perspectives of sustainable development, gender equality, and children and youth rights.
