Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania and the Geopolitics and Security Studies Center are pleased to invite you to the conference “Shared Values, Shared Security: The Nordic–Baltic Partnership at 35 and the Path Forward”, to be held on 9 April 2026 in Vilnius.

In 2026, the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania marks 35 years of continuous presence and cooperation. Established shortly after Lithuania regained its independence, the Office became a symbol of Nordic solidarity at a defining historical moment. Today, the Nordic–Baltic partnership faces a markedly different but equally demanding context.

Against this backdrop, the conference will serve as a high-level platform to reflect on past achievements, assess the current state of Nordic–Lithuanian and broader Nordic–Baltic cooperation, and outline strategic directions for the future.
