What has young music to do with sustainability? This is something that Marta Finkelštein and Sandra Galdikaite will discuss in the talk from the MO Museum.

 

The talk with Marta Finkelštein and Sandra Galdikaite, both working with issues of young people’s creativity and our relationship to the environment, is broadcast from the MO Museum.

Is it possible to find sustainability models through music? In the talk, we meet Marta Finkelštein and Sandra Galdikaitė, who both work with issues concerning man’s relationship with music and nature.

 

About the artists

Marta Finkelštein is a pianist, Artistic Director of award-winning, young ensemble Synaesthesis, and a doctoral student at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. In her project Forest. Sound Ecology, Finkelštein explores the relationship between man and nature in the Anthropocene era.

Sandra Galdikaitė is an artist, and founder of 9 zuikiai, a network for young people with a focus on issues of culture and climate. Within the framework of the network, Galdikaite is a mentor for young people with dreams of working with art and sustainability.
