Background
Green to Scale is a series of analysis projects highlighting the potential of existing climate solutions. Nordic Green to Scale for countries analysed scaling up solutions in the Baltic States, Poland and Ukraine in Europe and Kenya and Ethiopia in Africa. For both groups, ten solutions particularly promising for the region were selected.
The analysis covers the emission reduction potential, costs and savings as well as co-benefits of scaling up the selected solutions. In addition, the study looks at the country-specific circumstances for implementing the solutions, including policy recommendations tailored to the needs of each country.
The results for Lithuania are released in this event. The discussion focuses on the key findings, policy recommendations and investment and business opportunities from scaling up effective climate solutions in Lithuania. The event is organised by the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, in collaboration with the Nordic Council of Ministers Lithuania Office, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Energy and Nordic Investment Bank.
