The aim of the lecture and discussion is to introduce the public to the Nordic experience of integrating women’s health research into science and public policy, and to explore why women’s health remains under-researched.
The keynote lecture will be delivered by Professor Alkistis Skalkidou from Uppsala University in Sweden, an internationally recognized researcher whose work demonstrates how gender equality in research improves both scientific quality and real-world health outcomes.
Participants of panel discussion:
- Prof. Alkistis Skalkidou, Head of Whole Centre, Uppsala University
- Prof. Ramunė Grikšienė (Vilnius University, Life Sciences Center)
- Gražina Bielousova, Ph.D. (Vilnius University, Institute of International Relations and Political Science; Vytautas Magnus University)
