As part of their projects, participants will visit colleagues and partner institutions in Finland, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway to gain first-hand experience of innovative public sector solutions and strengthen Nordic-Baltic networks.

The selected projects address a wide range of topics – from social inclusion and accessibility to municipal governance, digital innovation in libraries, and regional development.

Social inclusion and accessibility

Two projects will explore how public institutions can become more inclusive and accessible for all members of society:

• Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania – Accessibility Policy and Implementation: European Accessibility Act and Universal Design

Strengthening public administration and municipal capacity

Several projects focus on improving public governance and strengthening institutional capacities at both national and local levels:

Research and innovation

The Research Council of Lithuania will strengthen cooperation with Nordic institutions through study visits to competence centres in the region:

Libraries and museums as drivers of innovation and community development

The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Civil servants and Public Institutions provides public sector professionals with valuable opportunities to learn from their Nordic and Baltic counterparts, establish long-term partnerships, and develop innovative approaches to shared societal challenges.

By bringing home new ideas, experiences, and professional networks, the programme contributes to building a stronger, more resilient, and more innovative public sector across the Nordic-Baltic region.
