Project purpose and goals
The project aims to strengthen understanding of the way young consumers interact with food and discover strategies to decrease avoidable household food waste amount in the region.
This will be achieved by researching possible methodologies, identifying and testing selected methods as well as creating and communicating guidelines for relevant stakeholders on household food waste reduction.

Key events and activities
- Gain insights on possible methods to change youth food waste habits through knowledge sharing meetings and literature review.
- Test selected methods for youth food waste behaviour change by co-creating interventions with focus groups in Denmark, Finland and Lithuania.
- Create and communicate food waste reduction intervention guidelines for relevant stakeholders on how to reduce food waste.
