Nordic Sustainable Cities Exhibition

From loneliness among the elderly to urban floods to air pollution – cities around the world face enormous yet similar challenges. In the Nordic Sustainable Cities exhibition, you’ll find some of the solutions that Nordic architects and engineers are already working on within the fields of health, mobility, low carbon, circular economy and resilience. The Nordics are on a journey towards sustainability and we hope to inspire you to join us!

Key events and activities

The exhibition was opened on September 16 at the Unity Square in Kaunas, and the exhibition was then brought to the Kaunas railway station where it was part of the Landscape Design festival. Following this, the exhibition has been shown at the shopping mall Kaunas Akropolis, and the exhibition will finally be displayed at the Kaunas University of Technology  where there will also be held a closing discussion at the end of the exhibition period. While being displayed at KTU, groups of school children will be invited for guided tours on sustainable cities.
